Re: Bio diesel engines Bad condition of roads increase fuel consumption and also fuel cost. In Andhra Pradesh there are many roads which are in bad condition. On such roads running bio diesel engines is only better.

Re: Bio diesel engines Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation(APS RTC) is very badly hit by increase of diesel prices. If APS RTC runs bio diesel busses they can easily get rid of losses by increase of diesel prices.

Re: Bio diesel plantations in Andhra Pradesh Including jatropha some other types of wild plants can be also used for making bio diesel. Andhra Pradesh government is encouraging only jatropha cultivation. Cultivation of other types of bio diesel plants should be also encouraged.

Bio diesel engines In normal engine maximum 20% bio diesel can be mixed with diesel. For using only bio diesel there should be changes in engines. In Brazil they are making engines which can work only with ethanol. In India Southern railways is running some engines only with bio diesel. Why cant we manufacture road vehicles which use only bio diesel?

Biodiesel with vegetable oil I heard that bio diesel can be also made with vegetable oil. If they manufacture bio diesel with vegetable oil it will benefit farmers who grow vegetable oil seeds.

Bio diesel plantations in Andhra Pradesh In Andhra Pradesh farmers in some areas are growing jatropha plants which seeds are used for bio diesel production. South central railway is also growing jatropha plants in railway lands at some stations. Jatropha plants can even grow with little water. Draught in Andhra Pradesh severely effected economy of that state and resulted suicides

Indian railways intrested in bio diesel Indian railways is also intrested in bio diesel. I have seen South Central Railway growing jatropha plants in railway lands at some stations in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. Indian railways is facing heavy losses by frquently increasing diesel prices. Indian railways is already running some trains in some zones with bio diesel.
